Tor Cotton

With a background in film, fine art and photography, Tor was involved with the Dingle International Film Festival for many years on the Advisory Board. She has run Comórtas – Físín for the last 11 years, a short film competition through Irish, both as part of DIFF and independently.

Tor brings 20 + years of retail experience, event organising skills and 30 + years of voluntary work. Currently, as a partner in the Ponc Press, Dingle, she works on layout and design for all their productions.

Tor is passionate about cinema and spent a couple of years as film presenter for the Tuesday night film club.

Aoife Granville

Aoife Granville is a traditional musician & singer from Dingle and also works as a Lecturer in Folklore at University College Cork. She is a member of the Sráid Eoin wren (which formed the basis of her PhD) and attended the Phoenix Cinema from a young age. Aoife is currently serving on the Board of the Arts Council of Ireland and is involved in arts advocacy and mentorship particularly in the traditional arts.

Orla Breslin

Orla Breslin is a maker and educator with a background working in creative arts, tourism, community and digital humanities. She currently works on an EU funded regenerative tourism research project in Kerry – developing and implementing community and stakeholder engagement initiatives focused around natural and cultural heritage.

Liam Óg Higgins

Liam Óg Higgins grew up in Dingle and has been a regular at the Phoenix since a Mary Poppins matinee reeled him in at the age of four. It's been GAA and Cinema since. Lives locally and works as a freelance photographer, videographer and tour guide.

Tríona Duignan

Tríona is a Dingle native with over twenty years’ experience of freelance music & event promotion.

Through her company, Beo Binn Live, she has organised numerous different music events in Dingle, as well as being the music booker and promoter for Nelliefreds venue.

She has worked as Artist Liaison with Other Voices and has managed bands such as Walking On Cars and Toysoldier. She Co-founded and managed the highly successful "Pantrí Café in Dingle for four years.

John Benny Moriarty

John Benny Moriarty was raised in Main Street, Dingle where his parents ran a drapery shop. He and his wife Eilís bought this bustling premises, then called Maire De Barras, in 2002 and John Benny's Pub has since become one of Dingle's most well-known places for food , music and hospitality .
